Switch-o-drama

.

No matter what size waiting rooms are,

… they are always too long!

.

note: there’s never enough waiting room in line-ups/queues … everyone is too close!

double note: a lot of people seem to doze at waiting room temperature.

triple note: pretty cool removable sticker, eh! … the link is here.

.

what I’m listening to now #34: John Mellencamp … but he might be a Cougar in some of the songs though.

Headonistic

Cartoonists usually draw their own conclusions.

.

note: if a moai fell on you, I guess that would be a headache … technically.

double note: Easter Island has a lot of head space.

That’s Just Growth!

I grew 2 feet in less than a year!

It’s not that amazing really:

most people did … along with the rest of their body.

note: if your name is “Tallest” it could get confusing when someone is looking for the tallest person.

double note: sometimes I’m the shortest person around, but it only happens when other people are wearing pants … and I’m wearing shorts … or have no money.

triple note: I still have 7 weeks before regular programming will continue. This is just a hiccup … or some other cup.

quadruple note: yes, I’ve used a different photo of this before, but I took another photo of it … so it’s all good.

Today #375

Today didn’t smell like mustard enough.

Long Reign Deer!

This is spray painted on the road between work and the parking lot.

There are other ones, but not so intricate.

They were probably put there to signify underground pipes or cables,

but I always think this one is a reindeer for some reason.

note: I’m pretty good at Pictionary.

double note: if I don’t get on here again before Christmas, I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, except Tony  who I wish good health and Happy Gardening!

triple note: Christmas on the International Space Station must be weird … or there are some cool places to store presents where nobody can find them.
(“Oxygen! That’s exactly what I wanted!”)

quadruple note: apologies for not being around on your blogs that much lately: I’m going through a phrase … or something like that. I’m sure I will pick up my socks after Christmas … or put them away … or wash them … or visit your blogs more often.

.

Today #315

Today I had 2 classes, left 3 hours early, and don’t have to go back until January 4th. It was almost better than Christmas!

Either Origami: Neither Norigami

Playboy magazines and Origami are the same:

… it’s just wrong to through them on a fire.

note: Playboy models have paper mooned a lot of people over the years.

double note: does Playboy still produce a magazine? I don’t know.
I get all my interesting interviews off of the computer now.

triple note: sorry I haven’t been around. I’ve been preoccupied … and I don’t even believe in reincarnation! What gives?

quadruple note: I’ve been busy in an “Occupied Movement“. … “Go Bowels!

quintuple note:stalling for time” usually involves bathroom cubicles.

.

Today #293

My heart beats about 103,680 times today: I didn’t count all of them … because I was sleeping for some of that time.
Some things just seem to carry on while I’m asleep … thankfully. … or maybe my heart stops while I’m sleeping … and I’m just special.

Stop Taking Crappy Photos: Tip #1

I’ve discovered how to stop taking crappy photos of moving things!

I let Mr. Pettit  take the photos.

note: I went to a BBQ on the weekend expecting this:

… but this was on the menu before the steaks

double note: sometimes I’m in the right place at the right time … and even invited!

.

Today #260

Today didn’t have any BBQing or Tahitian Dancing in it. … bummer.

Life-sized Portions

I don’t want to be larger than life.

The same size would be fine with me.

note: Did Andy Warhol make a big can opener for the big tomato soup can?
That would have been cool!

double note: my Mother always bought Campbell’s soup … except for tomato soup: she said Heinz tomato soup was better.

triple note: being larger than lifesavers isn’t really that big of a deal.

.

Today #259

Today I found another frog hiding in my yard!

Nose Picking

I bought these paper cups about exactly a month ago.

I’ve been waiting for a reason to use them.

Now I’ve found the perfect reason! … I’m tired of waiting … and a few people are coming over for a BBQ later today.

There are 12 different noses to choose from.

Which one will I choose?

Now is your time to guess! No prizes: just personal bragging rights.
You have a 1/dozen% chance of guessing correctly!

I’ll post the photo of the chosen nose, with my gob in it, tomorrow or after I’ve finished all the leftover BBQitis that seems to end up in my fridge before my belly.

note: I do like “the art student” one because of S. Le over there at Good in Parts… naff in others

double note: this is going to be like plastic surgery, but with paper instead. I’d make a good “Paper Surgeon“.

triple note: they’d have to make bigger cups to put my nose on them.

.

Today #240

Today a 70 year old lady gave me the “thumbs up” at the grocery store for folding up and taping an unfolded cardboard box like a pro.
I’m pretty good at that … and getting the knots out of yoyo strings, if I must say so myself.

I Feel Tense

There should be a new verb tense called:
Present Past Possibly Progressive
to use when you don’t know if the action is over.

What arewere you thinking?” … “I’mwas not quite sure.

Where is your girlfriend?” … “She iswas leaving me.

… because sometimes you just can’t be too sure.

note: It was called “Present Continuous” when I went to school, but I guess that’s “Past Incontinuous” now.

double note: the photo was taken on the grounds of a little museum near to where I live. If the sun is shining, you can see a rainbow on the inside of the building. … I guess using a waterhose when the sun is shining isn’t artistic.

.

Today #236

Today I sweat so much at the gym I’m pretty sure I was only 40% water when I left.

Left Not Right

You know those kids who never have their shoes on the right feet.

… I think one of them grew up and works at this stone monument place.

note: … unless they are hands from different stone people … or there is a big stone face looking at the hands. I could be wrong; I usually am.

double note: most people don’t like sitting on hands as a rule.

.

Today # 223

Today I thought I better get back to blogging.
Not blogging is like belonging to an anti-social network. Is there a “Get Out of My Facebook” out there? I bet a lot of people wouldn’t sign up to that!
