Money Making Scheme #14

I’m going to open a used greeting card store called “Card Agains”.

Card Agains

People usually just throw away cards anyway, so it will be 100% profit!

 For Every Occasion!

… possibly I’ll wear some type of sweater to work as well.

note: sure … people could re-use their own cards, but that’s just cheap and miserly.

double note: hey! it’s the thought that counts! … Are you calling my mother a liar?

triple note: possible slogan/jingle:

“The card`s not all marked up. It’s Hallmarked up!”

quadruple note: go green, save the earth, and all that stuff you know.

quintuple note: Money Making Scheme #1 and #2 and #3 and #4 and #5 and #6 and #7  and #8  and #9  and #10  and #11  and# 12  and# 13 are still scheming.

  1. Hahahaha! Brilliant stuff!

  2. And if people have actually written something inside, well all the better. It’s uniique, one of a kind!
    Love the categories!

  3. one of your best ideas yet!

  4. Smart!
I sometimes use the ones I really like as postcards. I just cut it up!! 🙂

  5. My grandmother went through the blitz in England and even many years later, the scars left by life lived during times of rationing still showed.

She used to collect and hoard all sorts of things, like string and wrapping paper. My grandmother’s command to all of us relatives was; that any greeting cards to her, from us, were to be written on, only very lightly with a pencil, so she could erase what was written and she could use the card again.

She was a real tightwad until the end of her days.

  6. thankyou for the haha.

  7. hahahaha. Too Funny! But it sounds like razzbuffnik’s grandmother has already thought of the idea.

  8. Thanks for all the comments.

    S. Le: thanks. I might test this idea, but I’ll have to wait for someone to send me a card first. hee hee!

Donald Diddams: I sent a friend a postcard from Thailand one year and took a photo of me dropping it in the mailbox. The next year I sent him the photo of me dropping it in the mailbox and took a photo of me dropping it in the mailbox. The next year … you can see where this is going.

Davis: thanks. I actually sat on this one for about a month … before I noticed it stuck to the back of my jeans.

Doraz: I sometimes tape two postcards together and see if I can get away with only putting one stamp on them. hee hee!

razzbuffnik: My mother was a little kid during the great depression and used to talk about eating lard on bread … and liking it!

sweetiegirlz: thanks. I originally just thought about fitting “cardigans” into a blog.

Kelly Pettit: great minds think alike. I’m still trying to get recognized for inventing the wheel too!

  9. 1) Open recycled card store
    2) ???
    3) Profit!!!

    It’s foolproof!

  10. Dennis the Vizsla: it’s “foolproof” or at least that word divided into 2 words, switched around, and “I’m a” in the middle. hee hee!

  11. Yup, its a brilliant idea!! For real, you must try this

  12. Mental Mist: I give this idea to you … but if you make a lot of money or save the planet … I might be grouchy.
… I was planning on being grouchy later anyway, so it’s not a big deal.
