The Stairs

When I do routine stuff I do it the same way every time; grab something with the same hand, hold a door open with the same foot, fold clothes the same way.
But … when I walk up my stairs, I always seem to get to the top landing on a different foot. One time left, next time right.

I think I’m bi-pedal or something.

note: having a “disorder” must be chaos.

double note: I’m randomly systematic disordinarily.

  1. Maybe someone jokingly keeps adding & removing a stair each time you go up or down.(or should that be step for the singular instead of stair). I dunno you’re the school teacher not me.

  2. I like the wood walls in your stairwell.

  3. In your case, I think it should be “stares.” I’m sure you get loads of those.

  4. Thanks for all the comments.

Tony: I always forget to make a mental note of which foot I start with when I go upstairs. I need a mental notepad or something!

sweetiegirlz: it’s just cheap thin panelling, but it doesn’t look too bad.

    S. Le: no one stares at me on my stairs; although no one steps on me on my steps either.
Actually I’ve gotten used to people staring. It still bothers some of my foreign friends for some reason.
