Christmas #1 (not the first Christmas)

Chile 2005

I think the Yuletide is out this year.

note: Yuletide seems to be harmful to turkeys … kind of like red tide for fish.

double note: I’m hoping for a “Yuletidal wave” of presents this year.

triple note:   When was the first Christmas? They should put a little note on calendars or something.

  1. I got to get me sum’ of this cristmas (sic) alcoholic lunch punch at $5000!

Have you already eaten the Shake n’ Bake from last year? Would you like another box?

Our White House just sent Hanuka cards to Jewish friends in which they were asked to disregard the art work of the FIRST card that was sent to them – which featured a nice Christmas Tree. Do we really have to wait until January 20?

  2. “triple note: When was the first Christmas? They should put a little note on calendars or something.”

It depends… do you use the Roman calendar or the Hebrew one?

  3. I could never get away with shorts like that.

    🙂

  4. Thanks for all the comments.

nathaliewithanh: Shake n’ Bake is always appreciated. I think 5,000 Chilean Pesos were a little under $10 US if I remember correctly. It was a bargain anyway for an afternoon of debauchery and turkey!

    S. Le: I’m flexible, but I usually use a paper calendar. hee hee!
It’s year Heisei 20 in Japan at the moment. I was born in year Showa 40. I hope that clears things up.

    Pomeroy!: me neither.

  5. Yuletide originated with christmas shopping. Too much shopping will make “yule-tired”

  6. Your explaination was so brilliant, I’m without comment. Well, nearly no comment. I suppose this is a comment….

  7. Call me paranoid…

But I don’t think that girl is real.

    I notice things like that…

Sorry, what was the question again?
