People have adapted to live in some pretty inhospitable environments on this planet.

I guess originally they didn’t know any different or better.
Maybe they thought everywhere was the same and just sucked it up and carried on the best they could.

… but now most people know that there are climatically less challenging places to live.

Have people just got used to where they live? … or are they nuts?

note: sorry if this post was anticlimatic.

double note: some people live in inhospitable environments … but there are a lot of people who are inhospitable in all environments.

triple note: is there an inhospitality service industry that I’m not aware of? … it seems to be really popular.

You’ll live in places with central heating, wood burning stoves, fireplaces, water radiators, coal stoves, oil furnaces, electric heat, propane heat, kerosene heat, and dung burning ovens.
… I’m just kidding about the dung burning. hee hee!

I watched my girlfriend as she moved from rack to rack in a women’s clothing store.

There were women of all ages shopping, but …

three women in their late 60’s followed my girlfriend around the store and were all interested in the same clothes as her.

I’m a bit worried.

note: there are many possible reasons for what I observed … and I elaborated on all of them after foolishly telling my friend the worst one first.

double note: I don’t have much choice when it comes to clothes where I live. I’ve turned into an LL Bean Stalker unintentionally. I like to call it XL Bean though.

triple note: I’m not saying that older people can’t  look stylish in clothes: I’m saying I don’t want them to wear the same clothes as my girlfriend and I.

quadruple note: the  X2: Egg Pod experiment has been updated. All the other experiments are doing fine … I’m just mesmerized by their ability to stay the same at the moment.

quintuple note: it’s another 2 entry night! … but those “The Sweetest Things” things are just too easy: like shooting barrels with fish … or something like that.

I don’t think you own a pair of jeans until you graduate High School. Your complacency amazes me … I mean us.

I’m glad there were pirates in history because I really didn’t want to be a clown on Halloween as a kid.

note: whoever said ” Those who live by the swordfish  die by the swordfish” must have been talking to someone called “Fish“.

double note: I haven’t heard of too many people  being attacked by swords recently … there must have been a government crackdown on that or something.

triple note: I used to think it was “Pontius the Pirate” when I was a kid.

The first professional play you see is “Treasure Island” in Vancouver. It blows your little mind … and is probably the reason you wear a pirate costume every year on Halloween.

If I can’t make a difference … I just want to make it different.

note: I’m not a trendsetter … I don’t know anything about dogs and their breeding.

double note: the air seems fresher already.

triple note: I don’t know what that stinky tree smelled like before, but it smells like ocean fresh something now. It may smell like pine eventually.

Don’t stand so close behind Alphie while playing ball hockey in grade 4: stitches are involved.

Lately I’ve been disregardening.

note: the only things growing in my yard are the pile of leaves, the number of dead flowers, and what the nextdoor neighbour’s cat has been daily  ”deposhitting” on the lawn.

triple note: sorry I haven’t been making my usual rounds … still mildly unmotivated by whatever I have. I think it’s slowly going away … or coming back … depending on what I’m talking about.
