Everything looks out of place at ski resorts in the summer months.
Empty chairlifts stopped, snowplows and skidoos parked and abandoned, rental shops boarded up, and every building looking just a bit too high off the ground.
The mountain should be at it’s nicest in the summer, but it just looks vandalized and scarred.
Hopefully it snows early this year, so I don’t have to look at this mess.

I had the same experience one summer when I rented a place in Montana in the Big Sky resort. It had a feeling of death about it. Couldn’t wait to leave.
