I don’t usually dry my clothes at a laundromat, but it’s been raining for the last 3 days here, so I went.
This sign was on one of the dryers.
It’s scary, but I actually understand what it means.
I think I’ve lived in Japan for too long.
note: I’m usually underwhelmed by start buttons.

I love Japanese to English translations. Always SO accurate!
Thanks for your brilliant “Ode to Potato.” Well done you!

Buttons seem to be popular over in Japan. What does that mean, anyway?

You know you’ve been here too long when English studying Japanese people say “No mind”, or “I play swimming” and it sounds completely normal! Or how about “what do you play sports”? Check out my blog http://kellypettit.wordpress.com/2008/04/23/speaking-japanese-as-a-second-language/.
It’s similar.

The sign is trying to say: if you put in more money to extend the drying time, you have to press the start button again.

Wow, cool…
What I wouldn’t give to be able to Overwhelm the start button once again.
Nothing like drying in addition too
